Motor Madness hasn't eased off this week. From May 21 to May 27, GTA Online is putting the spotlight right back on the LS Car Meet, and that's good news if you'd rather race, tune, and mess about with builds than sit in another lobby waiting for a heist crew to behave. The big draw is the 5X LS Car Meet Reputation boost, which makes the usual grind feel a lot less painful. If you're saving for upgrades, testing a new setup, or just trying to stack more GTA 5 Money through event payouts, this is one of those weeks where playing naturally still feels rewarding.

The LS Car Meet actually feels worth visiting
Most players know the LS Car Meet can be a slow burn. You hang around, enter races, tweak your car, and the reputation bar creeps up bit by bit. This week changes that. With reputation gains multiplied by five, you'll notice progress after only a few sessions. It's the kind of boost that makes unlocking trade prices, clothes, and meet-related perks feel possible without treating the game like a second job. Street Races, Pursuit Races, Drift Races, and Drag Races are also paying 2X GTA$ and RP, so there's a real reason to bring out a proper tuner instead of leaving it buried in the garage.

Auto Shop work is paying properly
Auto Shop owners have a good reason to clock in too. Robbery Contracts are paying double, and that makes jobs like the Union Depository Contract feel much more worthwhile. It's quick, it's manageable, and you don't need to rely on random players who quit halfway through. That alone makes the Auto Shop one of the better businesses for solo players this week. If you still haven't bought one, the 40% discount on Auto Shops, upgrades, and modifications helps take the sting out of the purchase. It's not just a flashy property either. It gives you contracts, customer cars, and a decent place to build out your street-racing life.

Free clothing and easy weekly rewards
There's a decent bit of cosmetic stuff up for grabs, and thankfully, not all of it asks much from you. Logging in gets you the Rockstar Helmet, which is simple enough. Buying the right vehicle from selected dealerships can also unlock items like the Rockstar Racing Suit or the LS Customs Varsity Jacket. The weekly challenge is even better for casual racers. Win two races and you'll pick up the Bright Manor Racing Suit plus GTA$100,000. Two wins might still take a little effort if the lobby is full of try-hards, but it's hardly a brutal ask. Grab a car you trust, keep your lines clean, and don't panic on the last corner.

Car discounts make this a strong garage week
The vehicle deals are worth a proper look before the event rolls over. Cars like the Emperor Vectre and Übermacht Cypher are 40% off, which is handy if you want something competitive without emptying the bank. The better deal, though, is the 50% discount on HSW upgrades and Benny's conversions. Those bills usually hurt, especially when you're trying to finish more than one build. Players who compare prices or look up GTA 5 Money for sale options will know how fast high-end custom work can drain a wallet, so half-price conversions are a rare chance to finish a few projects and still have cash left for the next update.
